A parenting journey is never easy. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and Allah sent me my village in the form of two such souls, who helped me raise my kids as a working mother: my mother-in-law and father-in-law. May Allah grant them a long and healthy life.
Another milestone Allah paved for me was my daughter’s school. Not getting admission into my own alma mater meant I had to choose a different school, and it has turned out to be the best decision for her so far. A school that teaches Islamic education and Qur’an as part of the curriculum. My disappointment turned into a blessing over time.
May Allah keep shining His light on all parents and help us raise righteous children. Ameen.
